Thanks for dropping by! I like to think I’m easy to please outside of a few little things. Aside from all my likes and prompts, I’d love for you to write something that you enjoy writing! That always makes my day in a gift fic, doubly so a long fic that you’ll have to spend lots of time with. DNWs aside, the world is your oyster. I am asuralucier on Ao3. I am requesting the following fandoms: Death Note (Anime and Manga)**, History Boys (2006) [Safety], Inception (2010) [Safety], Black Mirror: Smithereens [Safety], 기억의 밤 | Forgotten (2017) [SAFETY]
**For Death Note only: I’m opting into comics! I used to collect doujinshi when I was wee, so I would be thrilled.
My DNWs are:
-Non-con, anything sexual involving animals, the toilet, tentacles, non-human biology, underage (sexual activities between characters under 16; references/implications fine).
-Second person POV - this is defined as having the narrating character take up the perspective of “You.” If they are talking aloud and happen to mention “you” to an imaginary audience or something that’s fine.
-Non-canonical kid characters. A note on canonical kids - I’m happy for them to turn up, but I’d rather them not take over the plot.
-Character bashing by narrative. Piss-taking fine and encouraged!
-Modern/Mundane AUs or AUs involving space, zombies, werecreatures, or a/b/o dynamics. If you want to have the characters still meet cute in a cafe in-universe or everything is the same except one character is a vampire, then please do! As long as I can recognise the world as canon I will be happy.
General Likes (by no means a complete list):
+ Sexual Tension - Happy for it to be angsty, cracky, anything in between. Just make me squirm while I totally want the characters to bang.
+Literary/Philosophical Allusions, extended metaphors, color theory, wordplay/banter, absurdity - the more obscure the better! I also love characters who read and/or have weird jobs. Pack in a strange little detail somewhere and I’m sure I’ll love it.
+___!Porn: Identity porn, suit porn, food porn, drinks porn, locations porn? Is that a thing? I just like lush descriptions of things.
+Angst. I love love angst. Give me all the angst. Reasons for angst can include: moral ambiguity, guilt, failed ambitions, infidelity, thoughtful portrayals of grief, depression, PTSD, lost loves and all the rest. I also don't mind character death, but please please don't let it be a cheap plot point for angst.
+Humour: but I also like fun, characters who don’t take themselves too seriously, and people who have the ability to see the absurdity in their situations.
+Smut likes: teasing, helping each other undress/ruined clothing/frottage, blow jobs, tattoo licking, sex in semi public places, voyeurism, phone sex/voice kink, fluid sexual dynamics (no strict top/bottom roles), edging, pain kink/painplay, rimming (for m/m ships only), fingering, cunnilingus, awkward sex, overstimulation, dubious consent (defined as the character being dub-conned still having some form of agency, even if s/he doesn’t have all the information to hand.), differences in sexual experience, sensory deprivation, roleplaying, breathplay/choking

Fandom: Death Note (Anime & Manga) - L/&Yagami Light; Near/&Mello
I recently rewatched this and am full of feelings again! I find the worldbuilding absolutely fascinating and I’d love any number of Canon Divergent AUs. I’m also okay with gen/pre-slash versions of these ships.
For L/&Light, I’d love:
- Light as a Wammy’s resident. How do he and L get along?
- By the time Light starts killing people with his Note, L already has a Note of his own (never used). How would things change?
- Bad Endings (whether this is L hiding that Light is Kira so that Kira gets on with things, Light wins and subjugates L, they’re both stuck in limbo, something else?)
-That AU where L is an annoying detective consultant on Light’s criminal procedural...perhaps about the Death Note, but then someone finds one. Dun dun dun.)
For Mello/&Near I’d love:
-An AU where they both run away from Wammy’s House (whether this leaves Matt as L or whatever, that’s up to you.) I’m just in love with them running away together when they don’t like each other very much and have to learn to rely on each other.
- Mello somehow lives! And Near has to come to terms with many things while nursing him back to health.
-Any wacky adventures at Wammy’s. I’m still very in love with the jossed headcanon that Wammy’s is in Manchester and I would love it if the two of them wreaked havoc about town and ruined a play at the Royal Exchange or whatever.
-An AU that springboards off of (either or both) of them finding a Death Note.
And finally, that cracky crapshoot fic of my dreams involving anyone: someone(s) is a contestant on a cooking show and some dumb shinigami or something keeps stealing apples and stopping production. And then like someone dies.
Fandom: History Boys (2006) - Dakin/Irwin, Dakin Scripps
This was the play/film that convinced me that England was a beautiful place. Also like poetry blah blah. I’m forever after content for History Boys and I’d love pretty much anything. I’ve also read the play, so if you want to Easter Egg me, go right ahead!
For Dakin/Irwin, I’d love:
GLASSES KINK GLASSES KINK. No but more seriously, please give me the blow job of the century. I am so sad it never happens. I’m...assuming that Irwin forgot about Sunday but not the fact that he’s hot for Dakin? I don’t know, the ending just never really worked for me. Please help me.
Irwin goes back to school for real to Oxford this time. Dakin is amused/turned on/confused. Or in a divergent route, maybe Irwin is the youngest SCR member of some college and he’s interested in taking Dakin down a notch. He...doesn’t expect Dakin to be quite so into it. Also I’d love for Irwin to be from somewhere also not London, I’d love Portsmouth or Cornwall or maybe even Wales. Actually Wales would make my freakin day. Maybe Irwin’s younger brother is shaped (and sounds) like Iwan Rheon.
Recycling from Yuletide because I still really want it. I kind of want Dakin to become a lawyer consultant for the Beeb’s new show and Irwin still works there. Or Dakin has become an actor in something that Irwin consults on. Because why wouldn’t he?
Good ol’ English road trip. Bonus points for visiting obscure places. The car breaks down and they have to snuggle to keep warm in the backseat. I am a simple soul. And then they get arrested for public indecency or something and Scripps has to bail them out. (This is seriously all optional, I’m just thinking aloud.)
Because this is never going to happen to me - Irwin wins the lottery. Dakin is his tax lawyer. Things get a bit hinky and sexy I guess.
For Dakin/Scripps I’d love:
Any Oxford shenanigans. I have such a soft spot for their friendship in the film and I’d just sort of like to ruin it with any sort of ill-advised get-together. (Bonus of mega proportions of Dakin talks Scripps through his first wank.)
Terrible roommates AU (they might resemble Bottom/Withnail and I, idk)
That AU where Scripps gives up and becomes a Catholic Priest. Dakin suddenly finds religion and maybe naughty things happen in a confession booth.
Fandom: Inception (2010): Arthur/Eames
A ship that remains near and dear to my heart even a decade later. Most of these are repeat asks from other exchanges, but I still want them.
Still waiting for that royalty!AU where Eames is actualfax part of the royal family and Arthur misses him when he jaunts off to become the King of England. Would love to see letters/e-mails/texts between them in this context? If all his messages are being censored, maybe Arthur loses his patience and just camps out at Buckingham Palace as an overture to Eames. Eames finds this Romantic. (Prompt specific DNW: please no gaynst, but I would welcome ‘omg Eames is the King of England’ variety of angst to no end.)
Tell me about all the times Arthur failed at being a forger. I like the idea that the Point Man (by virtue of running point) kind of has to have a working knowledge of all the other roles on the job. And he’s probably decent at everything else, but he cannot forge for the life of him. Either Eames lovingly teaches him and they engage in experimental, educational™ selfcest or maybe Arthur learns that he can forge one archetype very well and has to make do with that.
Break my heart please, I’d like to explore the concept of missing/false or misplaced memories in the context of Arthur or Eames losing their memory. I’d love for this to be more a fictional disease - perhaps somacin related rather than dwelling too much on the specifics of dementia which I know is complicated, and I don’t want to weigh you down with research. However, if you’re confident you can pull it off, then I trust you. In this scenario, I’d love for Arthur or Eames to help each other and maybe plant memories in the places of the ones that have been lost. But of course, no two people remember the same, so...yeah, just angst all around.
This is a big ask, but I’d love an Inception take inside the world of Altered Carbon. I’d love for Inception/dreamshare technology to still exist, but maybe it’s dated now in light of everything else? How would it work?
Fandom: Black Mirror: Smithereens - Billy Bauer/Chris Gillhaney
This was such a heartbreaking episode, and you just KNEW Billy wasn’t going to be a complete douche, but I was so relieved when he wasn’t anyway. I really enjoyed the rapport Billy and Chris had in the episode and I’m looking for more.
Please let Chris live somehow. Yes, he goes to jail, but he’s also surprised when Billy Bauer comes to see him in person, offers him a place to stay afterwards.
Chris is Billy’s favorite Uber driver. I’d love it if something similar happens and Chris doesn’t clock onto who Billy is until later. (This seems possible? Seeing as how Billy seems to be a very private person and what’s more, can afford to be this kind of private.)
Chris does die and Billy resurrects him in Black Mirror fashion. Erm, things don’t go well?
Fandom: 기억의 밤 | Forgotten (2017) - Jin Seok/Fake Yoo Seok | The Boy (Forgotten 2017)
Wow this movie. I love how batshit and intricate it is. I especially love the idea of this creepy old house. I would like to underline my non-con DNW here but I'm all in for the unhealthy identity porn and extreme dubcon/pseudo incest what have you.
I am fascinated by Jin Seok's devotion to his older brother, to the point that he'd commit murder. I'm equally fascinated by Fake!Yoo Seok's exploitation of that devotion. Maybe Fake!Yoo Seok finds another way to punish Jin Seok for his crimes. I'm all for really weird things like sexual instruction, 'I'm you're brother, you love me, right? Then do this [insert very inadvisable thing here].'
I'm also here for the parents to go o.O fake!Yoo Seok what the fuck are you doing.
Or maybe they meet in the afterlife/are stuck in limbo together immediately after the movie.
Or or or. Perhaps Jin Seok finds the boy and kidnaps him from his extended family in order to give him a better life, uh. It doesn't exactly go as planned and the boy is still very angry. What does Jin Seok do to make it up to the boy? **Whatever happens, would like for the boy to be at least 16, but feel free to ramp up the really unhealthy dynamic however you like.
