Thanks for dropping by, whether we’ve matched or you’re considering treating me (!!) I’m asuralucier on Ao3 if you’d like to get to know me more as a reader/writer. It’s my first year doing TuringFest this year, and I’m excited to take part.

This year, I’m asking for the following fandoms: Black Mirror (TV); The Matrix (Movies); VA-11 HALL-A (Video Game)

Just to get it out of the way, my DNWs are:

-Non-con, anything sexual involving animals, the toilet, tentacles, non-human biology, underage (sexual activities between characters under 18; references/implications fine).
-Second person POV - this is defined as having the narrating character take up the perspective of “You.” If they are talking aloud and happen to mention “you” to an imaginary audience or something that’s fine.
-Non-canonical kid characters. A note on canonical kids - I’m happy for them to turn up, but I’d rather them not take over the plot.
-Character bashing by narrative. Piss-taking fine and encouraged!
-Modern/Mundane AUs or AUs involving space, zombies, werecreatures, or a/b/o dynamics. If you want to have the characters still meet cute in a cafe in-universe or everything is the same except one character is a vampire, then please do! As long as I can recognise the world as canon I will be happy.

General Likes (by no means a complete list)
+ Sexual Tension - Happy for it to be angsty, cracky, anything in between. Just make me squirm while I totally want the characters to bang. (This applies to / relationships only. I’d like & relationships to stay gen.)
+Literary/Philosophical Allusions, extended metaphors, color theory, wordplay/banter, absurdity - the more obscure the better! I also love characters who read and/or have weird jobs. Pack in a strange little detail somewhere and I’m sure I’ll love it.
+___!Porn: Identity porn, suit porn, food porn, drinks porn, locations porn? Is that a thing? I just like lush descriptions of things.
+Angst. I love love angst. Give me all the angst. Reasons for angst can include: moral ambiguity, guilt, failed ambitions, infidelity, thoughtful portrayals of grief, depression, PTSD, lost loves and all the rest. I also don't mind character death, but please please don't let it be a cheap plot point for angst.
+Smut likes: teasing, helping each other undress/ruined clothing/frottage, blow jobs, tattoo licking, sex in semi public places, voyeurism, phone sex/voice kink, fluid sexual dynamics (no strict top/bottom roles), edging, pain kink/painplay, rimming (for m/m ships only), fingering, cunnilingus, awkward sex, overstimulation, dubious consent (defined as the character being dub-conned still having some form of agency, even if s/he doesn’t have all the information to hand.), differences in sexual experience, sensory deprivation, roleplaying, breathplay/choking
+Other things that I like that are hard to categorise: loyalty/friendship/ride or die, mentorship, mindgames, locked room scenario, non-linear narrative, epistolary, crack treated seriously, character study, in universe meta, crapsack worlds, worldbuilding, for want a nail.


Black Mirror (TV): Ashley O. & Ashley Too; Martha Starmer/Synthetic!Ash Starmer

For Ashley O. & Ashley Too, I’d absolutely love something where Ashley gets to hang out with herself and actually like herself again. We didn’t get to nearly enough of their banter. It gave me life. I’m also happy for you to include Rachel and Jack, let’s make it a gals’ power hour. Perhaps Ashley O. and Ashley Too start a podcast? A series of youtube videos? Do they go about liberating the other Ashley Too’s that still has the limiting chip? Or maybe they get invited to be in a Daft Punk video.

On the darker side of things, Ashley Too has been liberated, but she’s also...a conscious robot? What kind of relationship do they have later in life when Ashley O. is thirty-five? Forty? Does Ashley Too resent Ashley O. for being the one that’s conscious in a body? Does anyone ever try to hack Ashley Too to get to Ashley O.? I mean, c’mon, it’s Black Mirror and this episode was just a teeny bit too happy for me, let’s fix that!

For Martha/Synthetic Ash, I’d love for you to unbreak my heart just a tiny bit. I think what was telling about Synthetic!Ash’s plea for Martha not to make him jump, that he has the potential for deep learning? I’d love for Ash to try to make his admin happy (in the way that computer programs are meant to WORK and he decides to do a little investigating on his own. Perhaps Martha doesn’t unplug him from the Internet while he’s up there in the attic and she’s surprised to find him almost a different person.

Or, perhaps Martha hurts herself and needs care? She’s loathed to let Ash out of the attic but she does need help. Perhaps they get to know each other again? If it strikes your fancy, their daughter can feature!

Matrix (Movies): Merovigian/Seraph; Merovingian/Persephone; Merovingian/Neo

Um, so the Merovingian is apparently my fandom bicycle. I didn’t exactly expect that to be the case. But in the spirit of me liking bad people who do bad things, here we are.

For Merovingian/Seraph, I’m a sucker for very unhealthy boss/employee relationships. I’d love to know about the early days of them working together--were they ever much the same in their thinking, maybe working together to make sure that Exiles have a safe place to go? Or has the Merovingian always sort of been a kind of suave jackass, keen to really seduce Seraph to the dark side? Give me the angst that comes with Seraph leaving the Merovigian to work for the Oracle! Because I can’t resist tragedy. And of course, I’m always here for all iterations of the Merovingian being turned on at Seraph being bamf. Esp if you buy the rumor that Seraph once defeated Agent Smith. Holla.

For Merovingian/Persephone: Hello, unhealthy marriage! Why are they still together? Is it because of the sex? Is it because their programming doesn’t ~let them break up/divorce for whatever reason? Or how about happier times, in previous iterations of the Matrix when both of them were still idealistic and young? I enjoy all versions of “I’ll find you, even if it takes a thousand years/programs” etc. Exiles thrive on exception, what's theirs? I'm thinking of that myth where lovers can only meet once every seven years or something. Forgot what it was called, but it's definitely a thing.

For Merovingian/Neo: FEEL FREE TO DUB CON ME TO RIDICULOUS EXTREMES. I am also happy for The Merovingian to make bad decisions regarding Neo because he misses Seraph. I am down for Neo to relive the same day over and over again at Mobil Station as the Merovingian attempts to win him over. I am equally down for Neo’s idealism and one tracked hero mind to melt the Merovingian a little bit.

VA-11 HALL-A (Video Game): Jamie (VA-11 Hall-A), Jamie/Gillian

I find Jamie, congenial machine assassin So So interesting, and would love to learn more about him. One gets the feeling he was mechanized bit by bit. How did it start? Was it a choice he actually had or did his employers make the choice for him? Where was the tipping point where he almost lost himself? How did he discover the joy of drinking again? I mean, the game makes it clear that his skin is just human enough to regenerate but everything else is machine? Must be one heck of a drinking experience. Tell me about it!

I ship Jamie with Gillian/Robert or whatever his name is? I mean. They’re friendly, they seem to have history, and I now headcanon that perhaps Gillian was given the same choice as Jamie to become a cyborg type person and decides not to/escapes before the procedures can be done to him. Did Jamie help? What did they both get up to during the Hong Kong riots? Awkward first times? I mean, how human are Jamie’s genitals?
