Thank you so much for dropping by! This is my second year doing Chocolate Box and I always enjoy it immensely, I am interested in a wide variety of pairings, and I’m really easy to please so I’m sure I’ll love whatever you come up with! If you would like to get to know me better as a writer/reader, I am asuralucier on Ao3.
This year, I am requesting the following fandoms: Videodrome (1983); John Wick (Movies); Call Me By Your Name (2017); Was nützt die Liebe in Gedanken | Love in Thoughts (2004); UnREAL (TV)
Before we get to specific nitty gritties, please take the following as DNWs:
-Non-con, anything sexual involving animals, the toilet, tentacles, non-human biology, sexual activity between characters under 16 (ftb or mentions fine).
-Lifestyle/formalized D/s; power imbalances more than fine
-Second person POV
-Non-canonical kid characters
-Character bashing by narrative. Piss-taking fine and encouraged!
-Modern/Mundane AUs or AUs involving space, zombies, werecreatures, or a/b/o dynamics. Fandom: Videodrome (1983): Max Renn/Harlan
The end of 2019 was a strange time for me and in that strange time, I discovered David Cronenberg. Videodrome is one of those films that convinced me that horror/body horror as a genre could really Work and have something important to say. That being said, I am so curious about Max/Harlan. Some things to consider:
-How did they meet? Obviously at some point, we realize that Harlan is part of the Videodrome’s plot, but what if Harlan finds himself beginning to fall for creepy Max and vice versa? (‘Fall for’ here is obviously a very broad term.)
-I would love for Max’s TV station to not always be that trashy. What happened to make it so? What influence did Harlan have over the trajectory of the programming hidden away in that little technological hole of his?
-Give me a weird in universe roommate AU and I shall die happy.
-What if Max does not kill Harlan and instead kidnaps him near the end of the film for idek, all sorts of reasons.
Kink exploration for plot? Dubious consent as Harlan attempts to open up Max’s horizons? (Some additional smut likes that are specific to this prompt: temperature play, sounding, needle play, whipping).

Assassins! Suits! Snark! Age Differences AHOY! Bad decisions, what’s not to like! For John/Marcus and John Winston, you might find me cheekily reappropriating my Multifandoms Tropefest signup, but honestly, it’s because these two pairings are evergreen for me.
John/Marcus: I love John/Marcus because I mean, loyalty kink is something bulletproof for me. I am also so curious about how close they were that in JW 1 Viggo would personally come over to Marcus’s house and brave his smoothies in order to offer him a contract. Also this hits a lot of my mentorship buttons as well, so feel free to do something with that. Also Marilyn Manson playing in the background “Killing strangers so we don’t have to kill the ones we love?” C’mon guys.
Crackfic of my dreams: Marcus is secretly a shinigami and haunts John through JW2 and 3 because lol.

John/Winston: is equally delectable because Ian McShane will never not be sexy. Suits! Power imbalance! Cultural differences (I feel like this is explored very little in terms of fic and fandom), not to mention the age difference yes please. I also really like any semblance of power imbalance for this because I love it when both parties are not particularly nice and still have a spine and however clear the imbalance might manifest John’s definitely not hopeless.
Crackfic of my dreams: John and Winston go on a terrible holiday and discover they aren’t a couple who know how to relax or spend leisure time together. But they work it out in the end pretty please.

Marcus/Ms. Perkins: Uh, this is random, but I love Adrienne Palicki and the one conversation they share canonically onscreen is chock full of history - “Ms. Perkins, why am I not surprised?”, “In for a penny, in for a pound.” Somehow that sounds like something Marcus would teach her so my mind went to mentorfic. I’m also happy to have something twisted where Marcus tries to replace John with Perkins and mayyyybe it doesn’t go well. If you decide to go this route, maybe Marcus does deserve to die at the end, up to you.
Gianna D’Antonio & Santino D’Antonio: I adore sibling!fic and I think these two would be fun. I mean, I feel like wanting JOHN FUCKING WICK to murder your sister is a big move. Why? A series of vignettes of them growing up would be nice nice nice, and also feel free to lean into creepy siblings as a trope but please no incest.
Viggo/Avi: I mostly want post-canon JW1 fic where they both survive somehow and have to rebuild, either in the US or Russia. Bonus points if they haven’t talked about their feelings yet and are just stoically carrying on. EDIT: An divergent AU where Avi is a DA and Viggo is on trial. Make of that what you will.
Fandom: Call Me By Your Name (2017): Annella Perlman/Samuel Perlman; Samuel Perlman & Annella Perlman & Elio Perlman
For Samuel/Annella I am perennially curious about Elio’s parents who are such a part of who he is! I’d take anything about these two - we mostly see a very loving, healthy relationship in the film and the book. But what did it take to get to that point? What does it look like when they argued? What does it look like when they are distant from one another? Perhaps Annella and Samuel are both sucked into work and struggle to find time to connect/reconnect?
I’ve also requested them before for Just Married Exchange and one prompt was that one character marries another to protect them/because they were pregnant. How would things change if Elio wasn’t strictly Samuel’s son? Was Samuel okay with this because of his own near indiscretions?
And of course, i’ve requested Samuel & Annella & Elio because I would love any snapshot of them as a family.
For this fandom, I don’t mind if Oliver shows up or is a couple with Elio, but I don’t want Elio/Oliver to overtake things, please!
Fandom: Was nützt die Liebe in Gedanken | Love in Thoughts (2004): Paul Kranz/Gunther Scheller
What is this? It is a pretentious German movie inspired by the Steglitz Student Tragedy about two boys (Gunther and Paul) who make a suicide pact after a weekend party. It is depressing and atmospheric.
I would love...anything? Maybe Günther is not dead at the end of the film, merely in a coma and Paul visits him every day. Then he wakes up. Because my heart needs it. Or maybe Günther who has a thing for Paul knows that Paul is in love with his sister and tells Paul that his sister doesn’t like sexually inexperienced men. So uh. (Feel free to get dub-conny here). Or maybe the pact goes through and Paul and Günther have to deal with the afterlife, such as it is.
Fandom: UnREAL (TV): Rachel Goldberg/Quinn King; Rachel Goldberg/Serena Wolcott
I adore this TV show for how wild and crazy it is and obviously for all the BAMF women.
Rachel/Quinn: Recently rewatched this and I ship these two BAMF ladies something fierce. As long as they are obsessed with each other, unapologetically themselves, and kick ass at their job (as shitty as the job is) I'd be happy to read anything. Re: canonical love interests like Chet or Jeremy et al, I don't mind if they or the relationship is mentioned, I also don't mind if there is infidelity of that's the route you'd like to go down, but I don't want those relationships to take away the focus from Rachel and Quinn.

UST and unhealthy too-close girlfriend vibes please please please.
