This year, for FFFX I’ve been sort of bitten by the doujinshi bug, so I’d love to see what you come up with if we match on art.
But but but I am also always starved for tropey absurdities that come with longfic! Hopefully there’s something here for you to like! I always enjoy a work best when a creator has had fun with it, so please do enjoy yourself! ***A note on treats in unrequested mediums: If I've requested art for something and fic is what strikes you then I welcome you with open arms and will give you all the internets. Let's go oldschool why not! Same goes for art too for TMA!
I am asking for comics of any length (2 x 5 pages, or 1 x 10 pages) of the following fandoms: Prince of Tennis/Tennis no Oujisama, Great Pretender (Anime), Saiyuki (Anime & Manga)
I am asking for fic of any length (1 x 10000 words or 2 x 5000 words) for The Magnus Archives (Podcast), Great Pretender (Anime)
My DNWs are as follows:
-Non-con (but extreme dubious consent where the victim still has some form of agency and ends up enjoying it is fine), underage (characters under 16 but implications/brief references fine). Sexual content involving the toilet, tentacles, non-human biology, Omegaverse
-Setting change or Modern/mundane AUs. However, I have a very broad definition of what counts as a canon divergent AU, so the one rule I have is “as long as I can recognize the world as canon, it’s fine!” So if you’d like to work in a coffee shop meet cute except everything else is still the same, or if one character is a vampire but everything is still the same, feel free to have at it. I’m also a big fan of wild post or pre canon AUs that sees characters arriving/becoming who they are.
-Adjacent to the above, please do not include zombies, werecreatures or prolonged settings in space as part of your AU endeavors.
-Non canon kid characters. Canon kid characters are welcome to show up, but please don’t let them take over the plot!
-2nd person POV. (Addressing the audience in an extended aside is fine, but having the narrating character taking on the perspective of “you,” please avoid.)
-Art only: Chibi style art as the bulk of the work (reaction shots and what not once in a while are fine!)

General likes! (by no means a complete list, do extrapolate as you’d like, always here for things that I didn’t know I wanted):
+Sexual Tension - Happy for it to be angsty, cracky, anything in between. Just make me squirm while I totally want the characters to bang.
+Literary/Philosophical Allusions, extended metaphors, color theory, wordplay/banter, absurdity - the more obscure the better! I also love characters who read and/or have weird jobs. Pack in a strange little detail somewhere and I’m sure I’ll love it.
+___!Porn: Identity porn, suit porn, food porn, drinks porn, locations porn? Is that a thing? I just like lush descriptions of things.
+Angst. I love love angst. Give me all the angst. Reasons for angst can include: moral ambiguity, guilt, failed ambitions, infidelity, thoughtful portrayals of grief, depression, PTSD, lost loves and all the rest. I also don't mind character death, but please please don't let it be a cheap plot point for angst. Bad endings welcome.
+Humour: but I also like fun, characters who don’t take themselves too seriously, and people who have the ability to see the absurdity in their situations, PUNS.
+Smut likes: teasing, helping each other undress/ruined clothing/frottage, blow jobs, tattoo licking, sex in semi public places, voyeurism, phone sex/voice kink, fluid sexual dynamics (no strict top/bottom roles), edging, pain kink/painplay, rimming (for m/m ships only), fingering, cunnilingus, awkward sex, overstimulation, dubious consent, differences in sexual experience, sensory deprivation, roleplaying, breathplay/choking

I’ve uh, hilariously regressed recently in terms of my fannish tastes and I’m loving it. Thanks for indulging me. One of my earliest fannish memories as a wee person was going to Anime Expo and discovering that a.) slash was a thing and b.) awesome people drew DOUJINSHI.
So naturally, I’d like you to let your imagination run wild and draw some very indulgent doujinshi/comic. I’m up for all sorts of things but given the nature of Prince of Tennis, I’d prefer things set post-canon. Silly costumes are always a plus (maybe they rope other people into having a murder mystery party and then sneak off to have sex - yes in my head, Tezuka is somehow super indulgent of what Atobe wants and he takes full advantage).
Or perhaps they go and visit a festival or something during a hard-won vacation considering their insane schedules. Please hit me with all the kimono details plus food porn please and thank you. Maybe if you wanted more plot, they’re not sure where the relationship is going yet?
Someone once prompted that Atobe visits a host club and finds Tezuka working there. Why. How. I have so many questions but mostly I really want to watch them lovingly drink champagne amid lush host club decorations while being awkward together.
Anything with established relationship silliness - if you don’t know this exists yet, you’re missing out - basically Suwabe Junichi makes food and is super cute about it? Just lookit how happy he is when he says cheese. So maybe Tezuka has insomnia before a big game and Atobe decides to make him a midnight snack. Idk how successful it’ll be though.
I’m also interested in the ways their relationship may not work. I can definitely see it, and would be keen to receive a vignette style thing where they try to make things work and repeatedly fail. Or you could just draw me a one room scenario where they sordidly break up over coffee. See? Told you I’m easy.

Disclaimer: I binged Cases 1-3 in a day but for the life of me couldn’t get through Case 4. However, if you had a fix it you’re dying to write, please don’t let that stop you. Maybe a fix it where Laurent does come to terms with his actions and faces some consequences for them and poor Makoto learns to stand up for himself a bit more is what I need! Or maybe there’s a version of Case 4 out there where adorable Edamame takes over the Yakuza proper and Laurent doesn’t know what to do. How does this wreck his plans? I’ve more or less spoiled myself but the final case is definitely not a favorite. If you want to pretend it doesn’t exist, go ahead!
But before Case 4 I was enjoying this show a lot! It was zany, fun, and I really enjoyed how culturally aware it seemed to be. I’m sorry, but Makoto’s stint at the Japanese restaurant made me laugh, along with the fact that he keeps being mistaken for being Taiwanese. I love the team dynamic, so do feel free to include Cynthia and Abbie and even Kim Shi Won or Kudo in your fic. I’m up for all sorts of divergent AUs that include time tested tropes, I will always say yes to more fake dating and random oops you and me against the world I guess we’re on the run now.
I’m also down for a version of Case 2 specifically where Makoto smells something funny about working on planes and refuses. The next day Laurent Thierry turns up on his doorstep and announces that he’s moving in. Um.
Anything where Makoto tops Laurent to let off some frustration and weirdly they both enjoy it. I’m also a fan of first times but maybe Edamame isn’t as virgin as he looks? (I don’t have a preference generally, but I’d like to see how this dynamic would work.)
I’m also up for all sorts of alternative first meets! Feel free to get creative here. As long as it’s full of snark and Edamame being put upon andSuwabe Junichi I mean Laurent sounding hot but sometimes one upped I’m there for it.
Art Prompts: Anything with them eating food, anything with them visiting your favorite landmark, suits, Laurent trying on a kimono for the first time, Makoto in a ridiculous costume (maybe the changing of the guard?), wouldn’t say no to either of them cross dressing for a con actually, either of them holding something fluffy (would totally read 40 panels of them accidentally adopting a cat).
Also repeating my v indulgent food prompt there - if you don’t know this exists yet, you’re missing out - basically Suwabe Junichi makes food and is super cute about it? This is another old love of mine, and I’m still not over the fact that they’re basically “Mom and Dad” of the group but there’s somehow not that much content for them. Let’s fix that please! I’d happily read 40 panels of them just trading cigarettes and shotgunning each other I guess. That’s where I am at.
I have seen Saiyuki, Reload, Gunlock, Gaiden and read a handful of manga way back in the day. If any missing scenes in particular grab you, please go for it! They always seem to move on quite well from one monster to the next as per the canon source material, I’d like to see what some of that residue/built up trauma might look like! Do leave me a note re relevant canon though, I’d be happy to revisit to get the most out of your comic!
I’m very very down with sick fic especially for this fandom. Hakkai taking care of Sanzo is always great, but I would also like to see what the opposite might look like. Maybe Sanzo burns soup.
All the reincarnation shenanigans please! I’d love to see what their lives might look like in the “modern” world? Or maybe this steampunk world that they’re already kind of in what with God’s credit card advances into….something?
They finally get rid of Gyuumaou! What happens afterwards? I’d love years and years of repressed pining to resolve or maybe even not! They know too much about each other and can’t be together that way? V curious to see your take on this.
I can’t remember if Sanzo’s taken a vow of chastity as a monk or not. But basically please let Hakkai do something about that.

I don’t think I’ll ever be ever over Tim’s death, or that the snark and animosity between Jon and Tim will ever stop giving me life. I’m a devotee of series 1-3 and a casual follower of series 4-5. I would prefer fic set pre canon or during the earlier seasons, but I will also never say no to a TIM LIVES fix it that goes further into the series.
I’m always here for Archivist!Tim! Maybe Jon is a weird guy who comes in to give a statement (feel free to use Mr. Spider, rework Jane Prentiss etc) and Tim hates how weird he is but is also attracted to him.
Always here for a role reversal where Jon is an Archival assistant that Tim can’t exactly fire because maybe Jon had connections to Getrude Robinson. Also interested to see if Tim gets suspicious of Jon after the events of series 1. Perhaps Tim watches Jon’s house and feels sad for him and wants him to have more of a life (but not because he likes him or anything, more like he wants the guy to be normal and ergo easier to work with.)
I feel like I didn’t get nearly enough of Jon mistrusting Tim and Tim having a problem with it.
Oxbridge Shenanigans. There’s Trinity College Oxford, so maybe they both attend a formal swap and get on each other’s nerves. Over and over again. Maybe they’re also both Social Secs so they’re forced to interact. Plus all that weird TMA weirdness in the background.
IDK how this would work but I wouldn’t be me if I didn’t request it. But if you can manage a Tim/Jon in universe hooker AU you have my sword and all the internets. In the spirit of weird in universe AUs, I would also be down for maybe Tim being an actor type who comes to the Institute to do some research for a role. The Institute is broke and needs the publicity, so Jon reluctantly works with him. (Plot twist, Tim only took this role to be at the Institute to find out more about Danny ect.)
