Oh, murder husbands. How could I not. This is a general plea for you to bring me your most fucked up imaginings of what happens after the Fall. I’m all for them living in y’know, the normal human way and trying to survive a second time being more honest with each other...or trying to be. I’m also a fan of all the prickly affection they show each other and Will getting more creative about his ways to kill Hannibal and Hannibal getting more turned on, and maybe it’s just gloriously messy. Attempted Murder as Foreplay in Foreign Countries? Come at me. I’m also interested in a version of post-Fall where Will has serious mobility issues - maybe he’s wheelchair bound/has a bad limp. Feel free to bring in slightly beyond the pale comparisons with Mason Verger if that's your brand of dark.
I am also up for all sorts of Weird and maybe Hannibal is Veles, given that he was born Lithuanian? Veles has Hannibal written all over it! In a Divergent AU route that has always intrigued me, I would like to see Will in a world where he’s never become an FBI agent, but he is still a murder-savant. He has no idea why this is happening and goes to Hannibal for a diagnosis. Hannibal erm, does, but maybe not the right one? You know, kind of like canon. Maybe he just runs a gun store/hunting goods store and gets questioned once in a while when people die around town.
A variation on the above prompt: in my ongoing quest to request in-universe hooker AUs for every canon I know, I just want Will as a forty-something hooker with a knack for attracting an uh, interesting clientele. All the bonuses in the world if he tells Hannibal that “I sleep with bad people [so other people don’t have to].” (Prompt specific DW but not a deal breaker, I’d love love top!Will, but I’m not going to run away if you go the opposite way.)
From out of left field, I would love a cracktastic thing where Will and Hannibal run a Youtube channel/Streaming channel called "Murder Husbands" affiliated with the FBI. Maybe it's an educational criminology tool but people just tune in because they like their chemistry so much. Cue Will being perturbed maybe and Hannibal going "I can work with this" 8D. Man, they’re a very creepy duo. I would appreciate them looking fabulous and creepy for 10k words. You could basically do anything and I would be happy, but!
What if Bedelia weren’t Hannibal’s therapist but his domme? Do they hang out outside of work? What do their sessions look like? What if Hannibal comes to her because while he’s able to perform, um, he’s unable to reach orgasm? Why? (in my head he’s like...too polite to reach orgasm/too afraid to because then he’d be honest? Idek if that inspires you, you’re a champion.) What happens when Bedelia is stalked by a client and has to take things into her own hands and asks Hannibal for help? Marcus/John Wick
I know Marcus was onscreen for like 15 minutes in JW1 and then was never seen again, but I will go down with this ship. From the little we saw, I can’t help but think there’s a deep story there. Marcus was probably one of the only one from the underworld to show up at Helen’s funeral, and also he has the gumption to give John a piece of his mind instead of just being afraid of him. Also, Keanu has said in interview that John was trained by Marcus so obviously he ships it. (I know I know, but a gal can dream). Some thoughts:
I’d love any form of pre-canon mentor/protege with fraught “omg this is a bad idea” feelings. One doesn’t get the sense that John learned much about actual life from the Theatre if you want to take that as canon - what kind of gaps did Marcus fill in? (Yes, you can take that as sexy as you want.) What kind of rules exist between a mentor and their protege? When were these rules broken? Were there any consequences?
I’m still waiting for that possibly crack fic where Marcus is a shinigami (God of Death) and doesn’t die after JW1. Instead he kind of follows John around JW2 and JW3 going goddamnit kid. Feel free to invent all sorts of death mythos for this one, but know that if Willem hadn’t played Ryuk in that godawful Death Note adaptation this wouldn’t be a thing I want so much. Alternatively, I’m fine with Marcus not being able to die (High Table weirdness?) and him maybe being pissed off about it (or not).
I want John stuck in a time loop trying to save Marcus in JW1 and there are feelings realizations that may or may not stick from one loop to the next. Actually, would quite like a tragic ending for this one if you could make it work.
After the trauma that is Helen’s death, John suffers a Memento like mental break where his short-term memory is on the fritz. But like everything else is still kind of the same: Daisy’s dead, his car is gone and he keeps waking up with weird tattoos. How does Marcus help or hinder?
Marcus and John get married. That’s seriously the prompt. Bonus if John is weirdly into all the wedding planning, because I think he’s a boy who likes weird traditions (suit measuring! Cake tasting! Seating plans!) Marcus, on the other hand, is the exact opposite and maybe slightly grumpy about having to do things for the sake of doing them. Would also totally love it if Helen was there as their intrepid wedding planner a la Elizabeth Burke or something. (And as per JW yes, there can be a conspiracy and people can die. But mostly I want them to get married.)
John Wick/Winston
I can’t resist Ian McShane, even when he was playing Andy Samberg’s dad in that one movie (look it up, it’s a gem). He’s done a great turn as Winston and this ship has so many of the things I love (old British men with great accents, age difference, suits, power imbalance, bad decisions, I could go on.) Here be some prompts:
Culture shock: I’m fascinated that given how intricate the worldbuilding is in JW-verse, that culture shock is severely lacking. I’d love anything that has John not being able to drive on the opposite end of the road and Winston asking someone for a rubber. Or maybe John is stuck guarding the Pope and Winston goes to visit and things...get interesting? But yes, um, culture shock, anything goes, have at it.
Time Travel: John is shot off the roof and wakes up thirty years in the past when he was just starting out. This time, he impresses the Manager too, but in a whole new way. I’d love pining, space-time shenanigans, the works. Or...John is shot off the roof and wakes up in a parallel universe where he and Winston are an item. What happened to the other John? How does Winston take it?
I kind of want a John/Winston prison AU with the world still in play. The world is your oyster. I’d just love to see how that would work. Why are they both there? What’s going to happen to the poor people who caused John/Winston to be in prison? (Prompt specific: I don’t mind non con in this scenario, but I’d rather not have John and Winston participate in each other’s rapes.)
I’d love John as a hooker AU and Winston as Winston. I wrote a version of this, but this is one of my favorite tropes! I’d love to see what you do with it! Bonus points if they have sex in a car; or perhaps one of John’s other clients is excommunicado Winston’s not too impressed with his taste. Idk, just have fun.
The Director
I love Angelica Huston! I was so glad to see her show up in the JW verse. I’m so fascinated by her role in the Theatre and that even though she seems to be afraid of the High Table, she still has enough power of her own to grant John passage to Casablanca. I’d just love her life story. I’m all for any sort of magical realism, and for other characters to show up as per. I’m also for the Director to go on her own revenge tale because why not? If that’s something that strikes you.

The Narrator (The Witches - R. Dahl) & Pinky & The Brain: Pinky & the Brain is still to this day my favorite cartoon. I love their zany schemes; I love their wit, and how they always get themselves into a wacky adventure of some sort. I’d love for Pinky & the Brain to be recruited by the Narrator and his grandmother to stop the Witches. Cue Brain thinking that harnessing ‘magic’ would help him take over the world. Just banter and wit and fun everywhere please.
The Narrator (The Witches - R. Dahl) & Remy (Ratatouille): The Narrator and his grandmother track a group of Witches to Paris, where he meets Remy and the gang. They might be humble rats who love cooking, but they’ll help any way they can! (Also, I forgot, but bonus if you can rope Anton Ego into this plot.) Or maybe they meet Remy somewhere else as he’s gone on a food journey.
Robert Angier (The Prestige)/Eisenheim the Illusionist (The Illusionist): Um, they’re both sad turn of the century magicians who have lost the great loves of their lives (sort of). I’d love all sorts of lush period detail and angst. What does Eisenheim think about Angier’s machine? Does Angier put his machine to good use to help Eisenheim? Random continental adventures with a bit of snogging on the side? I’m all for it!
I’m also up for an AU where The Great Danton was always practicing magic in Vienna and he and Eisenheim are friends - after the early events of The Illusionist, Eisenheim taken in as an Angier family ward and they grow up side by side. (Bonus for Angier pining for Eisenheim only for it to be discovered much later in life.)
Robert Angier (The Prestige)/Dorian Gray (Picture of Dorian Gray): After Root meets Dorian Gray in an opium den (come on, you know it’s happened), Root encourages Angier to see “real magic” for himself. Angier does, and in typical Angier fashion, becomes obsessed with Dorian’s youth and beauty, convinced that it must be a trick - for better or for worse.
In an AU, I’d love Robert Angier to adopt Dorian Gray as his ward and tries to teach him magic. Dorian, against Angier’s wishes, shuns magic and gets into the Occult. And maybe from there the painting happens. I’d love something with all sorts of horror tropes, feel free to body horror me, with a dash of Victorian stiff upper lip “I like you, dear boy.”
In contrast to the above, I’d love Dorian to pine for his surrogate father Angier in not a healthy way and gets into Occult/Dark Magic to get the man’s attention. I’m happy for things to end badly.
Artemis Fowl (Artemis Fowl)/Alex Rider (Alex Rider)
Iiiii probably should have specified this in the noms, but I’d love love love for this pairing to stick to their book verses. I’m not familiar with the movies or the show. But I love the idea of a criminal mastermind vs. kid spy in all of its forms. I’d love a teenaged romance where Alex has to guard Artemis for something and they end up on the run. Or perhaps Artemis needs Alex for one of his schemes and sooner or later, they’ve started working together. What does Alex think about leprechauns, anyway? Out of everyone I also especially love: Juliet, Butler, Mulch, Sabina Pleasure, Smithers, so I’d be chuffed if any one of these people from either verse played a role in your story.
I would also love a slightly depressing Alex and Artemis grow up and don’t really leave behind their former professions very well. How do they come together again?

Robert Angier/Alfred Borden/(Fallon): Grouping these together because. I love their antagonism and no-one-else-but-me attitude towards each other and I’d love anything that leans into that delicious, wonderful dynamic. I’d love it if you decided to go the /(Fallon) route that Angier slowly figures out that there are two by sleeping with both.
Angier is a rich aristocrat and he dislikes seeing Borden/(Fallon) grovel around for pennies. So um. That AU where Borden/(Fallon) become Angier’s kept man (men) and no one is very healthy for it.
Borden/(and Fallon)? Fallon pretending to be Borden? One of those - turns up in Colorado and the divergence that results thereafter. I’m also a big fan of the trope “trapped in a strange snowed in place with a person you don’t particularly like so feel free to lean into all the shenanigans they could get up to in that creepy old hotel. Also did I mention? I like old creepy hotels.
Borden/Fallon: “We had each half of a full life” - that sentiment is so lovely so erm, I’d love for it to get even more lovely with added incest. How did the brothers first get into magic? How did they manage to keep their secret all of these years? I’m all for all sorts of yearning and Codependency with a capital C yes please. Also like. That moment where one was helping the other chop off his finger...I kind of need more of that sort of dedication stat. I’m also happy for the brothers to go on a grand tour around Europe while they’re dirt poor etc.
Robert Angier/Nikola Tesla: Or, you know, David Bowie. I really felt as if they were of a kind and I can see an AU where Angier abandons his quest to screw Borden over and decides to find Tesla instead. This works out either good or bad, I haven’t the slightest. I’m also down for more exploration of Tesla’s machine and what that does to Angier’s psyche as he dies over and over every night. (Also wouldn’t say no to an Angier orgy with Tesla in the middle. Because yum.)
Or perhaps Tesla sneaks into London to see the Great Danton. Something along the lines of, “I’d like to see you lose your mind, Mr. Angier. Since you’ve chosen not to heed my warning. It will be my last great experiment.”

I’m still waiting for that possibly crack fic where Marcus is a shinigami (God of Death) and doesn’t die after JW1. Instead he kind of follows John around JW2 and JW3 going goddamnit kid. Feel free to invent all sorts of death mythos for this one, but know that if Willem hadn’t played Ryuk in that godawful Death Note adaptation this wouldn’t be a thing I want so much. Alternatively, I’m fine with Marcus not being able to die (High Table weirdness?) and him maybe being pissed off about it (or not).
I want John stuck in a time loop trying to save Marcus in JW1 and there are feelings realizations that may or may not stick from one loop to the next. Actually, would quite like a tragic ending for this one if you could make it work.
After the trauma that is Helen’s death, John suffers a Memento like mental break where his short-term memory is on the fritz. But like everything else is still kind of the same: Daisy’s dead, his car is gone and he keeps waking up with weird tattoos. How does Marcus help or hinder?
Marcus and John get married. That’s seriously the prompt. Bonus if John is weirdly into all the wedding planning, because I think he’s a boy who likes weird traditions (suit measuring! Cake tasting! Seating plans!) Marcus, on the other hand, is the exact opposite and maybe slightly grumpy about having to do things for the sake of doing them. Would also totally love it if Helen was there as their intrepid wedding planner a la Elizabeth Burke or something. (And as per JW yes, there can be a conspiracy and people can die. But mostly I want them to get married.)
John Wick/Winston
I can’t resist Ian McShane, even when he was playing Andy Samberg’s dad in that one movie (look it up, it’s a gem). He’s done a great turn as Winston and this ship has so many of the things I love (old British men with great accents, age difference, suits, power imbalance, bad decisions, I could go on.) Here be some prompts:
Culture shock: I’m fascinated that given how intricate the worldbuilding is in JW-verse, that culture shock is severely lacking. I’d love anything that has John not being able to drive on the opposite end of the road and Winston asking someone for a rubber. Or maybe John is stuck guarding the Pope and Winston goes to visit and things...get interesting? But yes, um, culture shock, anything goes, have at it.
Time Travel: John is shot off the roof and wakes up thirty years in the past when he was just starting out. This time, he impresses the Manager too, but in a whole new way. I’d love pining, space-time shenanigans, the works. Or...John is shot off the roof and wakes up in a parallel universe where he and Winston are an item. What happened to the other John? How does Winston take it?
I kind of want a John/Winston prison AU with the world still in play. The world is your oyster. I’d just love to see how that would work. Why are they both there? What’s going to happen to the poor people who caused John/Winston to be in prison? (Prompt specific: I don’t mind non con in this scenario, but I’d rather not have John and Winston participate in each other’s rapes.)
I’d love John as a hooker AU and Winston as Winston. I wrote a version of this, but this is one of my favorite tropes! I’d love to see what you do with it! Bonus points if they have sex in a car; or perhaps one of John’s other clients is excommunicado Winston’s not too impressed with his taste. Idk, just have fun.
The Director
I love Angelica Huston! I was so glad to see her show up in the JW verse. I’m so fascinated by her role in the Theatre and that even though she seems to be afraid of the High Table, she still has enough power of her own to grant John passage to Casablanca. I’d just love her life story. I’m all for any sort of magical realism, and for other characters to show up as per. I’m also for the Director to go on her own revenge tale because why not? If that’s something that strikes you.

The Narrator (The Witches - R. Dahl) & Pinky & The Brain: Pinky & the Brain is still to this day my favorite cartoon. I love their zany schemes; I love their wit, and how they always get themselves into a wacky adventure of some sort. I’d love for Pinky & the Brain to be recruited by the Narrator and his grandmother to stop the Witches. Cue Brain thinking that harnessing ‘magic’ would help him take over the world. Just banter and wit and fun everywhere please.
The Narrator (The Witches - R. Dahl) & Remy (Ratatouille): The Narrator and his grandmother track a group of Witches to Paris, where he meets Remy and the gang. They might be humble rats who love cooking, but they’ll help any way they can! (Also, I forgot, but bonus if you can rope Anton Ego into this plot.) Or maybe they meet Remy somewhere else as he’s gone on a food journey.
Robert Angier (The Prestige)/Eisenheim the Illusionist (The Illusionist): Um, they’re both sad turn of the century magicians who have lost the great loves of their lives (sort of). I’d love all sorts of lush period detail and angst. What does Eisenheim think about Angier’s machine? Does Angier put his machine to good use to help Eisenheim? Random continental adventures with a bit of snogging on the side? I’m all for it!
I’m also up for an AU where The Great Danton was always practicing magic in Vienna and he and Eisenheim are friends - after the early events of The Illusionist, Eisenheim taken in as an Angier family ward and they grow up side by side. (Bonus for Angier pining for Eisenheim only for it to be discovered much later in life.)
Robert Angier (The Prestige)/Dorian Gray (Picture of Dorian Gray): After Root meets Dorian Gray in an opium den (come on, you know it’s happened), Root encourages Angier to see “real magic” for himself. Angier does, and in typical Angier fashion, becomes obsessed with Dorian’s youth and beauty, convinced that it must be a trick - for better or for worse.
In an AU, I’d love Robert Angier to adopt Dorian Gray as his ward and tries to teach him magic. Dorian, against Angier’s wishes, shuns magic and gets into the Occult. And maybe from there the painting happens. I’d love something with all sorts of horror tropes, feel free to body horror me, with a dash of Victorian stiff upper lip “I like you, dear boy.”
In contrast to the above, I’d love Dorian to pine for his surrogate father Angier in not a healthy way and gets into Occult/Dark Magic to get the man’s attention. I’m happy for things to end badly.
Artemis Fowl (Artemis Fowl)/Alex Rider (Alex Rider)
Iiiii probably should have specified this in the noms, but I’d love love love for this pairing to stick to their book verses. I’m not familiar with the movies or the show. But I love the idea of a criminal mastermind vs. kid spy in all of its forms. I’d love a teenaged romance where Alex has to guard Artemis for something and they end up on the run. Or perhaps Artemis needs Alex for one of his schemes and sooner or later, they’ve started working together. What does Alex think about leprechauns, anyway? Out of everyone I also especially love: Juliet, Butler, Mulch, Sabina Pleasure, Smithers, so I’d be chuffed if any one of these people from either verse played a role in your story.
I would also love a slightly depressing Alex and Artemis grow up and don’t really leave behind their former professions very well. How do they come together again?
I’m also here for all the Irish/English jokes you can dream up but please don’t character bash anybody.
Fandom: The Prestige (2006)

Robert Angier/Alfred Borden/(Fallon): Grouping these together because. I love their antagonism and no-one-else-but-me attitude towards each other and I’d love anything that leans into that delicious, wonderful dynamic. I’d love it if you decided to go the /(Fallon) route that Angier slowly figures out that there are two by sleeping with both.
Angier is a rich aristocrat and he dislikes seeing Borden/(Fallon) grovel around for pennies. So um. That AU where Borden/(Fallon) become Angier’s kept man (men) and no one is very healthy for it.
Borden/(and Fallon)? Fallon pretending to be Borden? One of those - turns up in Colorado and the divergence that results thereafter. I’m also a big fan of the trope “trapped in a strange snowed in place with a person you don’t particularly like so feel free to lean into all the shenanigans they could get up to in that creepy old hotel. Also did I mention? I like old creepy hotels.
Borden/Fallon: “We had each half of a full life” - that sentiment is so lovely so erm, I’d love for it to get even more lovely with added incest. How did the brothers first get into magic? How did they manage to keep their secret all of these years? I’m all for all sorts of yearning and Codependency with a capital C yes please. Also like. That moment where one was helping the other chop off his finger...I kind of need more of that sort of dedication stat. I’m also happy for the brothers to go on a grand tour around Europe while they’re dirt poor etc.
Robert Angier/Nikola Tesla: Or, you know, David Bowie. I really felt as if they were of a kind and I can see an AU where Angier abandons his quest to screw Borden over and decides to find Tesla instead. This works out either good or bad, I haven’t the slightest. I’m also down for more exploration of Tesla’s machine and what that does to Angier’s psyche as he dies over and over every night. (Also wouldn’t say no to an Angier orgy with Tesla in the middle. Because yum.)
Or perhaps Tesla sneaks into London to see the Great Danton. Something along the lines of, “I’d like to see you lose your mind, Mr. Angier. Since you’ve chosen not to heed my warning. It will be my last great experiment.”
